Gemalto 3M AT9000 Passport Scanner Description

Gemalto 3M AT9000 is a 3M desktop version state-of-the-art full-page passport document reader familiar on border control desks. It features advanced technology securing its position as best-in-class. 

Gemalto Passport Scanner is equipped with two integrated antennas for reading RF chips and automatically detects the presence of an object regardless of where it is placed. Gemalto AT9000 is designed to read ICAO compliant passports and ID cards and other non-ICAO compliant secure documents such as driver's licenses, as well as barcodes including ePassport chip reading and verification images.

Authentication: 

3M Gemalto AT9000 assist users in achieving security authentication easy by checking for the presence of the document security features. Optical variable devices and shiny laminates are read easily thanks to the proprietary anti-glare system that cleans up the images leading to higher matching scores and less manual interventions. 

Image Resolution: 

The Gemalto AT9000 features a standard Dot Per Inch (DPI) image resolution of 400, scaleable up to 720 DPI (High-resolution), providing a clear and true colour fidelity. 

Save Format: 

Gemalto AT9000 saves document images using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) which can convert data fields into text and reuse them. It saves image format in  BMP, PNG or JPEG.
