In 2003, TCL acquired the United States-based Go Video Company through capital operation. TCL and Thomson Company of France joined forces to restructure their color TV and DVD businesses, establishing a color TV enterprise with an annual production volume of 18 million. Guangzhou Lehua Digital Technology Company, which was invested in by TCL, was established.
In 2004, TCL Corporation was listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. The biggest color TV corporation globally, TTE CORPORATION (abbrev TTE), jointly-funded by TCL and Thomson was successfully opened. TCL Communication Technological Holdings Limited Company was listed on the Main Market of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
In 2006, TCL Finance Co., Ltd was established and began operations. The company announced its ambitious vision of “Creating a competitive world-class corporation bank.”
In 2007, TCL launched its new brand strategy, redefining TCL as “The Creative Life.” TCL’s brand value exceed RMB 40 billion for the first time to reach RMB 40.136 billion, an increase of nearly RMB 4 billion, making the company become the "number one brand in the domestic TV production industry."
In 2008, The first TCL LCD module was off the assembly line, signaling that the Chinese color TV industry, represented by TCL Corporation, had made a key step forward in establishing the core competitiveness for the emerging flat-panel television sector. TCL and Intel signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The two sides announced that they would join hands to develop the next-generation Internet television and collectively promote the full integration between Internet and television.

In the 45th session of the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), TCL won the single award of technology innovation-"Annual intelligent cloud computing TV" award, while ranking in the global consumer electronics TOP 50 and sixth in global TV brands.
The "Chinese Star"-- a 110-inch four times full HD 3D LCD screen successfully developed by CSOT, was officially released in Beijing.
In 2013, The groundbreaking ceremony of TCL Home Appliances (Hefei) Industrial Park was held in Peach Flower Industrial Park of Feixi County, Hefei. TCL plans to invest a total of 7 billion yuan to officially launch the project of high-end production line with annual output of 8 million refrigerators and washing machines.
In 2014, TCL released a new transformation strategy in the Internet era- "Intelligent + Internet" and "Products + Services" and "Double +" strategy, to comprehensively build TCL’s strategic transformation and new business model with Internet thinking, and redefine the new values and vision of user-orientation.
TCL held its spring product release in Shenzhen, announcing the new industry positioning of TCL Multimedia and TCL Communication, releasing TCL game consoles, Meme da mobile phone, T3 air purifier and other new products, and announcing an investment of 500 million yuan in the construction of O2O platform project.
The fifth "Asia's Best Employer Brand Award" was announced in Singapore, and TCL received this award for three consecutive years.
