History
Foster Grant is an American brand of eyewear founded by Sam Foster in 1919. The brand is a subsidiary company of FGX International, a consumer goods wholesaler with headquarters in Smithfield, Rhode Island, which has been owned by Essilor since 2010.
During the era of American film in the 1950, Foster Grant epitomized effortless chic and the sunglasses were worn by iconic Hollywood stars. In 1960, Foster Grant pioneered one of the world's most well known advertising slogans, "Who's That Behind Those Foster Grants?”, which was recognized as a Top 100 Campaign of the 21th Century by Advertising Age.

All Foster Grant products come with warranty for one year from date of purchase. This limited warranty is only valid with proof of purchase and will be void if the return does not include a receipt as proof of purchase and date of original purchase.
